Born in NYC, the daughter of immigrants from Spain, she lived there until moving to Tampa in 1958. In 1964 the family was relocated to Orlando. She was a stay at home mother until the death of her husband Mike. She then, once again entered the work force where she worked for many years at Mid Florida Technological School.

They continued to stay in touch with her even after her retirement in 1990. Her love of travel served her well at her job and she visited many of her student's homelands through the years as an honored guest.
With her retirement she devoted herself as an active grandmother to her grandson Jamie. They had many adventures together and took trips to Washington, DC and Virginia and shared with him her love of history. As well as taking him on his first train ride. She was able to make many trips to Spain to spend time with family and friends there and loved every minute. She was an enthusiastic and avid traveler.
