Joyce DeBevoise (Florence Joyce Jones) died Monday March 19th, 2018. She was born in Irwin, PA, November, 1932, but moved while a small child to Tampa. She was the daughter of Merle and Flo Jones, and was predeceased by her parents, and her siblings Winnie (Harding), Howard Jones, and Carol Jones. She was a graduate of Mitchell Elementary, Wilson Middle, and H. B. Plant HS (class of 1950). She attended the University of Florida. There she met and married Donald Turley DeBevoise, and was married for 65 years. During his tenure as a pastor they lived in St. Petersburg, Tampa, Orlando, Longwood, and finally at the Westminster Towers in Winter Park, Florida. She is survived by her husband and four children, Andy (Julie Bauer), John (Emalee Derenthal), Dan (Helen Montgomery), and Julie (Dan Krasno), and her grandchildren Beth (Scott Wilson), Lindsay (Dave Theimann), Joe (Lindsey Jones), Amy, Hannah (Grant Patterson), Mary, Holly, Donald, John Daniel, Nathan, and Noah, step grandchild, Sophia, 2 great grandchildren, and 7 nephews and nieces. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who devoted herself to making a home filled with love and care and to serving with faith and grace in the church. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, March 23, at the Park Lake Presbyterian Church in Orlando, where she worshipped in the latter years of her life. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be sent to the Park Lake Presbyterian Church, 309 E Colonial Drive, Orlando, Fl 32801

    My love and respect is with the DeBevoice family. I have respected Joyce since I was a girl and got to know her better at Markham Woods. She was a beautiful lady inside and out!!! Heaven has more grace now!!!
