It's hard to believe Joanna is gone. I love her so much. She was always cheerful, loving, and true to what she believed. She knew of my interest in natural remedies and would often bring these to my family when we were sick. And I would often reach out to her and ask for advice on how to treat my sick children. She has been my mentor and I hope to emulate her desire to learn and then serve those around her. I am a better mother and person because of my sweet association with her. I look forward to the day when I can hug her again.

I have loved Joanna ever since met her. I met her in person only once, but we wrote each other for years and I have saved all her cards & letters. I always though the world would keep on turning as long as Joanna was out there. I will miss her like crazy. My deepest sympathy to her family who she adored.

I have loved Joanna even though I only met her once, we have corresponded for years. I told her I always felt o.k. as long as she was out there. I miss her like crazy. She was such a giving person and she taught me a lot. I didn't know how much grieving would hurt. When I pray to God, Joanna will always be included.

Joanna became my first friend when my family and I moved to Longwood 11years ago from Kansas. She pulled her vehicle up next to me in the church parking lot to introduce herself and that started a sweet friendship. Joanna was a beautiful, talented, loving woman and I will miss her presence in my life and in my daughter's.

My heart is so sad for your family. Joanna was and will remain a huge presence in the life of anyone who met her. I first met her parents Joe and Wegi in the 1980s. They are such strong, wonderful people. Joanna had the best qualities of them both. My daughter, Sandy Johnson, became a very close friend to Joanna over the years and they shared a love that only good friends understand. Thank you Joanna for all you have meant to my family. We will never forget your dedicated work and talent when you made our Lindsey's wedding so extraordinary just last December. We love you!! Rest in heaven! Love and prayers for the family. And, I believe with all my heart that you have already met Ella, your granddaughter.
