- Age 92 of Orlando FL.; passed away March 2, 2017. Loving husband of the late Mildred Ilean Loyd; dearest father of Fred W. Loyd, Gloria L. (Jerry) Allen, & Joy L. (Boom) Sonntag; proud grandfather of Dr. Joshua (Melanie) Loyd, Patricia Sprayberry, Shane (Nicole) Allen, Brian (Katie) Allen, Kayne Sonntag, & Ty Sonntag; great grandfather of 9; predeceased by 1 sister and 2 brothers; survived by many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 5, 2017, 2pm at Carey Hand Cox-Parker Funeral Home, 1350 W. Fairbanks Ave., Winter Park, FL. Arthur was a proud veteran and retired Sergeant First Class of the US Army, and was a Five Star Carpenter until 1987. Donations may be made to the charity of your choice.

    Uncle Arthur (Oscalucie to me and my sister) was my last remaining uncle. I love hm very much and will miss him for his humor and his honesty. He proudly served in the US Army in WWII, Korean War and the Vietnam War. He was a loving uncle, father and grandfather. Prayers to all the family.
